The priest's garden

Hidden away in one of Seix's alleyways, you'll have the opportunity to step inside one of the village's treasures: a colorful, playful, and exciting garden. It's here, between the Presbytery and the Notre-Dame de Pitié Chapel, that the Seixois Heritage Association has recreated a Priest's Garden, open to visitors during the summer months. 
What is a cottage garden? A flowery place that allows you to meditate, heal, and nourish yourself... It therefore contains vegetable gardens, flowers, medicinal plants, and small fruit trees. 
In this garden of scents and flavors, labeled Ecological Plant Space, passionate volunteers offer you a warm welcome. Through their explanations, legends, and anecdotes, they will share with you their passion for plants and botany, but also life in the past: opening onto the garden, a museum space is dedicated to a rich and varied presentation of "old-time tools" and the reconstruction of a mountain hamlet house; and the presbytery houses a permanent exhibition room on linen work.
