“I'm Jean-François Brunel, director of the cultural heritage division of the Couserans-Pyrénées Community of Communes. Here, there are numerous and dynamic spaces for artistic creation and dissemination. In this area, there are more than 300 cultural actors for 30 inhabitants, with many creative spaces and tools. It's all very structured and very professional. Producing culture for all audiences, from the foothills to the mountains and valleys, is a real challenge here. Our idea is for every resident to be able to find something local. We work on comprehensive programs, from creation to dissemination, including mediation. All our actions are supported by the ADECC, an original tool of shared governance between the community and cultural actors.”
