New: “The Naive” Museum

I loved the posthumous meeting with this fascinating character from "Le Naif", Paul Fauroux, farmer, mason, wood artist during his retirement years.
Unique art, marked by a love for his Couserannais region and the simple things in life: school, love, the land, perspective on the world and its people. All this is transcribed onto monumental paintings in inlaid solid wood, with a wide variety of species used.
Anne-Marie, his daughter, guided me and gave me the curiosity to explore the world of this atypical, yet universal father.
The museum is open this summer every Saturday afternoon.
