We're going to pitch our tent on the heights of the Couserans mountains!
Axel and his little tribe leave in bivouac to sleep in a 1000 star hotel, accompanied by Dahu Ariégeois, mountain guide.

One of my most beautiful experiences of bivouac! 2 great days spent on the heights of the Lers pond. A real moment of disconnection.
Let's go !
We set off among photography and nature enthusiasts and we begin our escapade with a small workshop on the wild floraWe are entitled to plenty ofTricks to be able to use these plants in our next exits full nature lovers.
We continue heading out of the beaten track towards the Rose hut, ideally located at an altitude of over 1600m. And the with a safe environment, rather enchanting when faced with your dog's high peaks of Couserans, such as :
- the Red Peak of Bassiès or even
- the emblematic Mount Valier.
It's really the ideal corner to make our bivouac !
Once we arrive there, we enjoy this enchanting setting and we even have the right to a musician who does us the honor of telling us about Occitan stories, to the tunes of bagpipes (not just any bagpipes, as this was a unique, handmade instrument).
All that remains is for us to pitch the tent and enjoy! It's not always easy to choose the right place with all these views available to us.
We take the opportunity to start preparing our evening meal. Fire lit, team in place, we're ready to tackle the festivities around a delicious cheese board with a breathtaking view of the Couserans mountains.
What happiness!
On dates this day by a magnificent sunset glowing, giving the whole a mystical atmosphere to the stage. As if we could, for a moment, glimpse the Couserans of yesteryear...
The next day, after a beautiful but short night spent under the starry vault, departure before dawn, in order to attend the sunrise !
Head towards the ridges of Pic de Fontanette.
Le show The long-awaited meal was there, making us forget the fatigue caused by the morning effort.
First of all sumptuous colors pastel appeared on the peaks, then the golden glow the first rays came warm the landscapes, giving the starting signal for the return to civilization.
We set off again in the direction of the Rose Cabin to have breakfast and regain some strength after this climb worthy of the Couserans. It is time for us to turn back in the direction of the Lers pond.
