A family activity to do with children in Ariège

Let's go for a family outing at Acr'olus! 

This is the first year where I tell myself that this is it, my daughters are old enough to try it out. tree climbing in Aulus-les-Bains. This treetop adventure course, located in the shade of the pretty thermal park, is ideal for a sunny day.

We met at 14 p.m., after a picnic in the park. The little ones got equipped and received explanations about the trail, which is accessible from age 3. I was able to stay next to them to help them handle their carabiners: perfect for a safe and fun start.

My eldest daughter, full of motivation, immediately understood how it worked, without any apprehension. My youngest, a little more fearful, did well with my help. Rope bridge, zip line, tunnel, net… My little tightrope walkers showed impressive agility!

The plus point of this "pitchounet" course: neither too short nor too long (10 to 25 minutes depending on age and agility), and children can repeat it as many times as they like. The team is very friendly and remains available to accompany if necessary. The setting, in this large park with century-old trees, is truly pleasant.

I'll definitely be back! Next year, the older one will probably be able to venture into a higher level (from 5 years old). I'm even looking forward to being able to do a course with them and have fun too.

Go for it with your eyes closed! For older children, try the other courses, from level 1 to level 6, with a 100% zip line course and a climbing wall. If you're looking for a family activity during your vacation in Ariège, this is really ideal. I highly recommend it!
