Every year, the "Rendez-vous aux jardins" (Gardens Open Days) invite the public to (re)discover the richness of parks and gardens throughout France. For this 22nd edition, from June 6 to 8, 2025, stone will be in the spotlight with the theme "Gardens of Stone, Stones of Gardens ." A unique opportunity to explore the dialogue between mineral and plant life through visits, workshops, and activities for all ages.

Located near the village of Rimont, this garden offers a timeless stroll. Nature reigns supreme, inviting you to wander through its bucolic paths, sculpted with care and passion. Medieval garden, verdant nave, or living theater… each space engages in a harmonious dialogue with the abbey. An inspiring place, designated a Remarkable Garden , not to be missed during this event.

Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 14 p.m. to 19 p.m. / paid entry for adults (€5) and free for those under 18

The garden of the Clos des Aromas

Between a vegetable garden, orchard, medicinal plants, and shiitake mushroom cultivation, Clos des Arômes harmoniously blends botanical expertise, composting, and well-being. A vibrant, inspiring garden where nature rhymes with balance and serenity.

Come and discover it through a self-guided tour to discover its synergistic garden during this event. All in a green setting along the river. 

Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m. self-guided tour at a rate of €2 per person.

The priest's garden

Nestled in the charming village of Seix, this garden is run by passionate volunteers who cultivate medicinal and vegetable plants with care and expertise. During a guided tour, take a sensory and enriching stroll through the heart of this living garden. Extend the experience by discovering their eco-museum. A unique place where nature and heritage meet to bring to life the history of the Couserans of yesteryear.

Open Saturday, June 7 from 15:00 p.m. to 18:00 p.m.

The shared gardens of Saint-Girons

Located in the town of Saint-Girons, these gardens primarily aim to foster social connections and integration into local life, while creating a space for exchange and sharing. For this 22nd edition , guided tours, an exhibition on living soil, a gourmet buffet featuring garden produce, a seed exchange, and nature readings are on offer.

In the afternoon, there will be wooden games with the Toy Library and a basketwork workshop for ages 12 and up (registration required)

Saturday, June 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m. Free. Limited to 8 people for the basketwork workshops.
