If you are passing through Couserans from July 26, you are strongly invited to come and discover this Fancy a getaway without leaving France? This summer, head to Ariège for a colorful trip just 2 hours from Toulouse. RITE Festival returns from 26 July at 9 August 2025 in Saint-Girons and in the Couserans valleys.
A unique event that celebrates cultural diversity through traditional dances and music from around the worldA festive and human immersion, not to be missed.
What is the RITE festival?
le RITE Festival welcomes artists from all over the world every year.
In 2025, more than 250 dancers, musicians and singers will take over the stages and villages of Couserans to share their traditions, their costumes, their rhythms... and lots of good humor!
And this year, several concerts and shows will take place throughout the valley.
The show “World Cultures”
A journey without a passport or suitcase! In just a few seconds, you're somewhere else. Cuban drums rock the stands, colorful dresses swirl, and the dancers' smiles sweep you away. More than 200 artists will take you on a journey through their world, sharing their traditions through music and dance.
This show will take place on August 7, 2025 at the exhibition center in Saint-Girons.

Show – concert “Fiesta Latina”
One of the highlights of the RITE FestivalFiesta Latina is the raw energy of Colombia and Cuba brought together on stage. Powerful music, fiery dances, and a lively atmosphere: a concentrate of Latin American culture to discover during this concert show on August 8, 2025 at the Saint-Girons exhibition center.

Shows are coming to every village
From Monday 4 to Friday 8 August, ten villages in Ariège will welcome groups from all over the world. Some shows are free, others require a fee: to find out the terms and conditions for each municipality, contact the town halls concerned directly.
