13m is the total of the Couserans passes... Ready to get your calves working?
The legendary cols of the Tour de France are unmissable—so go ahead and give it your all on the famous Route des Cols! But once you've got your merit badges pinned to your handlebars, head out to explore the more secretive cols... They rhyme with tranquility and wild nature. If you're looking for winding roads that cross deep forests, raw landscapes where you'll encounter more birds of prey than cars, you'll be in luck.

Tom's favorite little-known passes
1. The Saraillé pass
From Massat, a gentle, shaded climb is ideal for a first ascent or a leisurely outing. At the summit? A sublime view of the Valier and the mountains facing south. The descent to Cominac is a visual treat. An accessible, wild, and spectacular pass.
2. Catchaudégué Pass
A bucolic and tranquil pass, accessible from Moulis, Alos, Seix, or Lacourt. Between flowery meadows, forests, and isolated hamlets, it's a natural escape far from the traffic. At the summit, enjoy a clear view and a well-deserved picnic break!
3. The Col de la Crouzette
From Biert, the Col de la Crouzette (8km, 660m d+) challenges you with its increasing slopes up to 18%. A true wall hidden in the heart of the Couserans, rugged but sublime. Upon arrival, a breathtaking panorama awaits you.
