Snowshoe hike with a nature theme day

Day hike or snowshoe hike, easy to medium level. The rhythm is adapted to naturalistic observation with many explanatory pauses. The opportunity to discover mountain fauna (birds or ungulates), as a family.

Observation equipment and snowshoes/poles provided.

Additional Information :
Each person must have the following items:
- High-top, waterproof walking shoes (with gaiters),
- Winter hiking clothing, warm and waterproof (walking pants, fleece, jacket, hat and gloves),
- Sun protection: sunglasses (factor 3 min.) or ski mask, sunscreen,
- Backpack (20-30 L, not exceeding 4 to 6 kg),
- 1,5 liters of water minimum,
- Picnic and snacks (e.g. cereal bar, dried fruit, etc.), hot drink,
- Small pharmacy with personal treatment if needed, and mask and hydroalcoholic gel.

Anyone who, at the time of departure, has unsuitable clothing or equipment may be refused access to the hike.

Not suitable for pregnant women, people with heart problems or those with a medical condition that could cause complications when engaging in physical activity.
