Micro-Folie: an innovative cultural initiative serving local communities.

Supported by the State, overseen by the Ministry of Culture, and partnered with La Villette, the Micro-Folie initiative integrates a Digital Museum into existing facilities. Additional modules—such as a FabLab, virtual reality stations, or a performance space—can further enhance the Micro-Folie's offerings. Located close to residents, these local cultural hubs are a valuable tool for Arts and Cultural Education (EAC). With a stated goal of deploying 1,000 Micro-Folies across France by 2022, this initiative aims to become a permanent fixture.
