Through our 7 tourist information offices , our advisors are specialists in their territory and their valleys: Ustou, Bethmale , Biros… So whether you prefer foothills or mountains, our nature destination is full of hikes to do with family or for a day for the more experienced.
Arriving in the Couserans region means immersing yourself completely in nature. Whether you come from Foix via the Green Way by bike, from Toulouse by motorway, or by train from Boussens, there are many ways to reach us! Because we are committed to helping you discover the artisanal and cultural heritage of Couserans, you have the opportunity to discover our local products in the shops of our tourist information offices in Aulus-les-Bains, Saint-Lizier, Saint-Girons or Castillon.
In summer or winter, we are also pleased to welcome you to the seasonal office in Guzet ! Whether on skis or for a ride on the toboggan run , you will spend pleasant moments at over 1400 meters altitude in Ariège.

The Couserans Pyrénées Tourist Office is on the move this summer, visiting its tourist information points (RITs)! No need to travel miles to pick up our magazine ; you can find it at participating shops and businesses. Other documents are also available, such as our tourist map featuring must-see local markets, including the one in Saint Girons on Saturday mornings.
Just 3km from the town lies the small episcopal city of Saint Lizier and its magnificent Bishops' Palace . The village's atmosphere, perched on the banks of the Salat River, will entice you to stroll through its picturesque streets and discover its historical monuments, such as the 18th- century pharmacy, the Romanesque cloister, and the Saint Lizier Cathedral.
