How to get to Couserans?

To reach Couserans, nestled in the heart of Ariège, access is possible by various modes of transport.

Coming by train:

The nearest train stations are Boussens and Foix. These stations are served by regional trains of the TER Occitanie network.

From the stations of Boussens and Foix, there are connecting bus services to take you to Couserans (see getting around by bus).

If you choose to fly, the nearest airport is Toulouse-Blagnac , accessible from many international cities. From there, a one-hour drive will take you to the gateway of the Couserans region in the Volvestre Ariègeois, to Sainte-Croix-Volvestre, in the foothills of our valleys. From Toulouse, you can also reach the main town of Saint-Girons in 1 hour and 30 minutes.
