Formerly Le Couserans

The association organizes a large popular event of rural and peasant events whose objectives are to retrace the life of yesteryear, bring together the local population, preserve heritage and safeguard individual and collective memory.

A huge popular success which drew its letters of nobility from the collective memory of the elders at a key moment in the history of agriculture and its evolution. Farm products with the label of origin, local breeds often rewarded at the agricultural fair are exhibited in Saint-Girons among the agricultural machines of another time: mowers, threshers, carts, chariots and dumpers guided by men, women, children in old-fashioned costumes.
