The Relais du Bouirex on snowshoes

A beautiful forest, a large pasture giving access to an extensive view of the Toulouse plain, the Pyrenean massif and more particularly the Pic de Séron

Step by step :
0.00 - Take the secondary track on the left and 400 m later, at the reservoir level
0.10 - Enter the forest on the right, after ¼ hour turn right twice to go alongside a fir tree, the path then rises through several bends before arriving at the edge of the woods. Turn left along the fence.
1.25 - Cross the gate and continue walking along. You are on the pastures of Arp; cross them heading southwest, you come across the ruins of the Cabane de la Plagne; the path rises gently, following a stream to its source. It then turns towards the relay crossing the altisurface of Bouirex, recognizable by its closely mown blueberry bushes.
2.10 - At the relay, take the track on the left for 350 m.
2.15 - Leave there, to take a small path on the left which takes you near the La Coumière cabin, you cut the bend in the track and leave it at the fence
2.40 - Take a path that plunges into the forest then after a few minutes take the forest track, paying attention to the markings (many departures on the left and right) which leads you back onto the track
3.20 - Take it on the left for 300 m. then leave there at the first bend for the secondary track just opposite for 400 m.
3.35 - Take a path on the left (which has been cut by the track) by climbing the embankment and follow it until you join this track again
4.00 - She now accompanies you to the starting intersection point
4.30 - End
