Gîte d'étape – Domaine d'Aunac

Our gîte is ideally located at the crossroads of the main hiking trails in the Couserans region. We welcome you during the summer season for one night or more, where a friendly atmosphere is our guiding principle.

Our gîte welcomes you throughout the summer season, from June to September. Particularly suited for a restful night during your travels (hiking, cycling, horseback riding, motorcycling, etc.), our gîte offers several rooms and dormitory beds to suit all budgets.

The gîte (hostel) includes two spacious bedrooms with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains, as well as two dormitories, accommodating 3 and 7 people respectively. The gîte has a relaxation area on the ground floor, along with a large table for planning your routes, playing board games, and more. Outside, there are two large covered tables under a shelter, where you can eat and enjoy the view.

We offer a meal plan for dinner and breakfast. Dinner is served at 19:30 pm (reservations required) and breakfast is self-service: you can therefore have it very early and leave for your day of hiking at dawn.

We also offer a casual outdoor café and a grocery store. The grocery store is open every day from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The café is open from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

You have access to free private parking for your vehicle. We are available throughout the summer season and would be happy to advise you on how to enhance your stay with a beautiful hike, or other activities!
