Morning: Guided tour of the Romanesque complex and the 18th century pharmacy.

The magnificent Saint-Lizier Cathedral, decorated with one of the finest collections of Romanesque frescoes in the French Pyrenees, is flanked by the only Romanesque cloister still standing in Ariège. While exploring this complex, you will also have the opportunity to admire the Bishops' Treasury, some of whose pieces even date back to the 10th century!

Then, continue with your guide to the old pharmacy, preserved in its original state. You'll have no trouble imagining the nuns of the 18th century using this arsenal: from surgical tools to earthenware, glassware, and remedies with curious names. Listen to Dimitri tell you about the evolution of medical practices over the centuries, from dog oil to today's paracetamol!
