To begin this stay away from the hustle and bustle, head to theEychelle Pond A little haven of peace in the heart of the Pyrenees. A 4-hour hike, with absolute calm at the end of the trail.

To prepare your picnic, stop at the Moulin Gourmand shop in Engomer, for good local products… like Bethmale cheese!

Visit the village of Seix

After your hike, cross the Col de la Core to gently descend towards Seix, a charming village nestled in the mountains. Stroll through its narrow streets, all the way to the Croix du Pouech for a lovely view of the village and its castle. Then, push open the castle gates and stroll through the peaceful Curé garden.

Head to the *** Château de Beauregard hotel, with evening meal at the Auberge d'Antan.

Day 2: Time for relaxation and discovery of iconic historical sites

An address for lunch? The City Barn A gourmet relaxation in the heart of the medieval town of Couserans. Take the opportunity to admire the Pyrenees from their terrace.

Visit to Combelongue Abbey

And in the afternoon we leave in the direction of Combelongue Abbey and its remarkable gardens. Here, there's no rush. Just the pleasure of strolling, letting yourself be surprised by the tranquility of the gardens, and pushing open the doors of an abbey with unique charm. A place where you simply feel good.

Discovery of the Mas d'Azil cave

To get back to Toulouse, forget the motorway! We suggest you take the Mas d'Azil to cross its prehistoric cave (by car, and even by camper van). From Mas d'Azil, head towards the Arize valley, crossing Montesquieu-Volvestre and Rieux Volvestre, which are also worth the detour!
