To prepare your picnic, stop at the Moulin Gourmand shop in Engomer, for good local products… like Bethmale cheese!

After your hike, cross the Col de la Core to gently descend towards Seix, a charming village nestled in the mountains. Stroll through its narrow streets, all the way to the Croix du Pouech for a lovely view of the village and its castle. Then, push open the castle gates and stroll through the peaceful Curé garden.

Head to the *** Château de Beauregard hotel, with evening meal at the Auberge d'Antan.

Day 2: Time for relaxation and discovery of iconic historical sites

Discovery of the Mas d'Azil cave

To get back to Toulouse, forget the motorway! We suggest you take the Mas d'Azil to cross its prehistoric cave (by car, and even by camper van). From Mas d'Azil, head towards the Arize valley, crossing Montesquieu-Volvestre and Rieux Volvestre, which are also worth the detour!
