At noon we recommend you take a trip to the City Barn, an unmissable farm restaurant, or at Carré de l'ange, a gourmet restaurant that's worth it, if only for the view... and it's delicious too!

Visit to the Aristide Bergès Museum

In the afternoon, discover this former paper mill, a listed historic monument, where each machine tells a story. Welcome to Aristide Berges Museum. Follow the manufacturing stages alongside passionate former workers, guardians of a unique know-how. Nearby you will find the Freedom Trail Museum, which traces the history of the Couserans ferrymen, or the 1900 school to relive the school of yesteryear.

To end this weekend in style, head to the Haut-Salat valley to discover one of the last clog makers in France. Julien opens the doors of his workshop and passionately shares the secrets of making the famous Bethmale clog.

You will pass through the enchanting Bethmale lake, it would be a shame not to take a look around… then push on to the Col de la Core for spectacular views!
