On the paths of the greenway
Morning: The greenway
Explore the greenway from Saint-Girons to Rimont, a former railway line converted into a cycle path. Feel the wind in your hair and admire the surrounding countryside. For lunch, we suggest a well-deserved break at the restaurant " In a good, informal way"In Rimont, this restaurant is a must-stop for food lovers. You can also take the opportunity to buy some charcuterie in the shop. It's a bit of a climb up to the village from the greenway, but it's definitely worth it! Alternatively, you can bring your own picnic..."
Afternoon: Combelongue Abbey and its remarkable gardens
After a good gourmet break, we make another stop in Rimont, to visit the Combelongue Abbey and its remarkable gardensA true historical gem of our region. This nearly 900-year-old monument is made entirely of brick, while all the other buildings of the period are made of stone in our area. Its peaceful gardens trace several eras (from the Middle Ages to the contemporary) and are a real source of disconnection.

Put on your Robin Hood costume and head to Route of the gates of Couserans ! It's open to beginners, and it's perfect for sharing a good time with the family, while discovering beautiful landscapes in the autumnal forest with views of the valleys. In addition, the targets are not classic targets... Okay, at the beginning, we suggest you practice on ordinary targets, but then, on the course, they are volume targets (also called 3D targets)! That is to say, they are large fantastic creatures (dinosaurs, giant insects...), which makes the afternoon even more fun. Honestly, we tested it, it's great.
