Jules’ Enso Gîte

Welcome to our gîte "Enso de Jules", nestled in a hamlet surrounded by nature and a breathtaking view of the Ariège Pyrenees mountain range in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Natural Park.

The "Enso de Jules" gîte is located on the edge of the woods, in a hamlet on the heights of the village of Aleu at an altitude of 820 m in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Natural Park. It has been a family property for 6 generations.
Nestled in a peaceful, nature-friendly setting, with breathtaking views of the Mont-Valier mountain range and the only glacier in the Ariège region, this gîte holds several labels: Gîtes de France 3 épis, and the Valeurs Parc label from the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Natural Park. It is also listed in the Petit Futé guide.
Following its commitment to protecting biodiversity and its eco-responsible attitude, the gîte is the first Ariège gîte to have obtained Gîte Panda approval (WWF).
During your stay, you can appreciate the richness of the fauna and flora as well as the heritage along the interpretation trail on the 7000 m2 of land of the gîte, as well as during the visit to the museum of ancient objects.
The fully renovated cottage has been carefully designed to offer you warm indoor and outdoor spaces in a welcoming atmosphere.
You will feel at home.
Inside you can share friendly moments around a large table, relax in the living room with board games or escape with the books on offer.
Upstairs, two bedrooms:
one in a cozy atmosphere with a view of the majestic Mont-Valier and another more spacious including a living room and a dressing room opening onto a small garden offering you an oasis of greenery.
The terrace and its pergola will offer you the possibility of having meals in the open air or simply relaxing while admiring the panoramic view accompanied by birdsong.
You can also stroll in the garden, where several places to relax are available.
Several hiking trails are directly accessible from the cottage. Market lovers or sightseeing or gastronomic visits will find what they are looking for nearby.
Whether you are a couple, with friends or with family, our cottage is the ideal place for nature lovers, but also the ideal place to recharge your batteries and enjoy this natural setting.
Every time you open the shutters, your wonder will be intact. The cherry on the cake? Seeing the deer pass by in the garden.
