Gîte Le Chèvrefeuille

This 70 m² mountain house made of natural stone and slate is located in our small hamlet at an altitude of 780 m on a small sunny plateau in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Natural Park, facing the majestic Mont Valier (2838 m).

Our houses made of natural stone, wood and slate have been restored with much love and work over the past forty years.
A lot of involvement also for the large flower garden which, when we arrived, was nothing more than a pile of brambles in a ruined hamlet.
Our ecological commitment allows the local flora and fauna to find refuge in Anilac. We have many birds that nest here, lizards that bask in the sun, salamanders that show themselves after the rain, squirrels that jump from tree to tree, sometimes we can even see one or two eagles flying over Anilac, the deer show themselves more in the fall, the orchids proliferate in the spring, etc.....
In the houses you will find all modern comforts, even wi-fi......
The house is composed of a large living room with American-style kitchen, farmhouse table (made from the old rafters of the roof), chairs, two armchairs and a large open fireplace (wood optional). Direct access to the private terrace with table, chairs, deckchairs. A bathroom with large tiled shower, sink, towel dryer, a separate toilet and washing machine.
Upstairs there are two attic bedrooms, one with a large 160 x 200 bed and the other with 2 single beds (0,90m), wardrobes, bedside tables and a baby cot.
