The West Couserans is a vast territory extending from the plain areas of Saint Gironnais to the peaks bordering Spain, rising to 2880 m (alt. Maubermé).

Discovering it through this six-stage loop allows you to travel the entire Lez watershed, made up of the Balaguères valley, the lower Lez valley, the Bethmale valley, the Biros valley and Bellongue. All these valleys are rich in generous nature with magnificent and soothing environmental sites and panoramas, rich in authentic architectural heritage (monuments, Romanesque churches, chapels, fairground barns, mountain buildings, etc.) and traditional cultural heritage specific to mountain valleys, rich in local productions that make them gourmet (cheese production, honey, jams, etc.)!
