A medieval village with fortified ramparts with its feudal motte and keep, including an interpretation trail allowing you to discover the history. A stop is essential when you take the route bis (the tourist route) from or to Toulouse!
Tourtouse is a small village in the Ariège Volvestre, close to Sainte Croix Volvestre and its royal forest. Discover this small village and its feudal mound during a walk of about 1h30 which takes you to the typical hamlets. Within the village walls, part of the ramparts has been restored as an open-air theater: experiencing a show in this place is a magical moment! The Remp'arts association offers an eclectic program.
