You enter the imaginary attic of the bear riders of the Garbet Valley, returned from their trip around the world:
You will be able to consult all the documents collected, illustrating this harsh and courageous life of our ancestors, in search of a better future. From 1850 to 1900 approximately, they traveled 4 continents and many countries with their animals. Some settled there, others returned home. These are the journeys that we invite you to (re)discover at the museum.
You will find there,
Historical elements to understand this particular story
Photos and documents, including a performer's notebook!
Objects that belonged to them
A large travel map
And videos on demand
