Pic de Cornudère in winter

Walk in the forest crossing the soulane of a limestone link.
You will discover several dolines, depression of the ground in a karstic zone (limestone) caused by collapse, before reaching the top with the breathtaking panorama!

Road access: From Castillon, take the D4 then turn left onto the D618 towards Luchon. At the Orgibet exit, take the D304 towards Galey. Follow the road towards Escarchein (D69) and turn right to park at the chapel.

Continue the track due north. The route is always straight despite the junctions. After 30 minutes, at the fork, turn right then left 20 m further.

You leave the obvious track to take a very good flat path on the left. at the next crossroads, straight ahead

which you take on the left to leave it 200 m further by a path which rises to the right in the embankment.
